The EL Foundation supports talented young people after they finish school on their path to higher education – even when their families cannot afford it. Together with teachers and supporters, we create new educational opportunities and long-term prospects for motivated students.

To do this, we award scholarships every year:
- for studies at English-medium colleges and universities
- to highly motivated and talented secondary-school students
- in the graduating classes of our partner schools in Nepal, Thailand, and Laos
- regardless of their background or their parents’ financial means
- In addition, we provide our students with a new home and a strong network in our student residences.

We work closely with our partner schools to identify talented young graduates who demonstrate strong motivation, academic potential, and personal commitment. Together with teachers and mentors, we carefully evaluate each student’s abilities, character, and individual circumstances. Our goal is to support young people whose families would otherwise not have the financial means to make higher education possible.
